New York

Welcome to NYC

New York City is a city full of life, energy, and endless things to explore. With over 8 million residents and nearly 20 million in the metro area, NYC is one of the largest cities in the world.
We can explore some of its boroughs—Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens—each with a unique vibe. The best way to get around is the subway, running 24/7, with a single ride costing $2.75. Unlimited MetroCards are $34 for 7 days or $127 for 30 days. Taxis and ride-share apps are convenient for short trips or late nights, while walking is often the fastest way to enjoy dense areas like Manhattan.
The best time to visit is spring (April–June) or fall (September–November), when weather is comfortable and crowds are smaller.

Iconic Landmarks

- Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island: Tickets for the ferry and pedestal access are $25, crown access around $30, and the ferry alone is $23. Opening hours: 8:30 AM–4:00 PM daily. We recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid long lines.
- Times Square: Free to explore anytime, but evenings are the most vibrant. Be cautious with belongings as the area is always crowded.
- Central Park: Open 6:00 AM–1:00 AM. Walking is free, bike rentals cost $20–$25/hour, and horse-drawn carriage rides are $60–$120 for 20–30 minutes. Morning or late afternoon is the most pleasant for a stroll.
- Empire State Building: Tickets: $49–$77 (86th floor), $77–$110 (102nd floor). Open 8:00 AM–2:00 AM. Visiting early or late evening avoids crowds and offers spectacular views.

Museums & Culture

- The Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art): Suggested entry: $30. Open 10:00 AM–5:30 PM. Visiting early helps avoid crowds.

- Broadway Shows: Tickets range from $60–$200, depending on the show and seat. Booking online in advance saves long lines.
For a more local experience, we can explore Brooklyn's street art and Chelsea's small galleries, which are often free to visit.
